Nedi Safa is the mother of two children with special needs who have grown into happy, successful adults. Her older son with ADHD graduated with a Master’s degree from U.C. Berkeley, and her younger son, diagnosed with Autism, brain damage, and communication and learning handicaps, is now in his senior year at college.

Nedi knows, from the inside, what it is to struggle with A.D.D.- she was diagnosed herself, and her entire family was part of a study by UCLA on the genetics of A.D.D. As a music teacher, she has dealt with many special-needs kids of different abilities and challenges. For her own health, she learned energy work in 2003 and started helping others almost immediately. Today, as a Now Healing practitioner, Nedi Safa has a particular interest in helping those burdened with these challenges.

My Policy on “Doing” Healing for Family Members

Dear Family (kids, spouse, parents, siblings, nephews/nieces, cousins, in-laws etc)

The reason for writing down my policy is two-fold. First, it gives me an effective, efficient, clear structure for how to do healing work with you, while relieving my sense of overwhelm that I should be helping my family 24/7 and my guilt about not helping 24/7. Second, it clarifies for you how to actually get help from me.

1. I will do healing sessions for you, without your permission or request, if you have an emergency or serious acute situation.

2. I will not do healing sessions for you, for a chronic long-term condition, minor injury, other non-emergency situations like cold, flu, heachache, pain, depression, relationship problem, stress, etc… unless you specifically request that I do so.

3. If you want me to do a healing session with you, you must ask me. I will not offer, unless it’s an emergency or you are not physically capable of asking. When you are a willing participant who takes responsibility for your own healing, I am more than willing to work with you. I am honored to help.

4. Healing is not something that I do to you. The healer “doing healing to” a healee, can work very well in the initial phase of their relationship, or for a young child, or in an emergency. But after that initial phase is over, or the child becomes self-aware and self-compentent, healing work for non-emergency conditions must be mutually agreed upon. Otherwise, the session is much less effective.

5. Please expand your expectations of the possible result of the healing session to include a) infinite limitless instant healing; b) no discernible change; and c) anything in between. Your non-attachment to the outcome of the healing paradoxically gives you a better chance at good results – as does your willingness to allow change in your information-field.

6. The kind of healing work that I do is not “curing”. Your medical diagnosis, the conventional explanation, and the so-called common-sense cause of your condition is just a tiny fraction of your issue, from an energy/information standpoint. If you ask me to work with you, be prepared to work on your whole life in all dimensions – not just on your local complaint. The goal of any “healing” that I do is Alignment with Wholeness. When alignment is achieved, healing can happen quickly, because…

7. Healing is a Side-Effect of Wholeness.

Are any of these Life Areas out of balance for you?

Do you over-focus on one area while shoving the others under the rug?

Some of us pay attention to our health, but give short shrift to our relationships or career. Perhaps we focus on spirituality, while our finances, family, and fun suffer. Or vice-versa.

Example #1. You want to lose weight. So you decide to stop eating all grains. And it works… you lose 15 pounds quickly and easily. You feel good, you’re flying high. But then some dratted holiday comes along, and temptation takes you, gravity grabs hold, and pulls you back to the groove you’ve worn into your reality. (And yep, you might have grokked that I speak from personal experience here!)

Why did you “fail” to reach your goal? You succeeded in one area – food choices – for a while. But you ignored the other parts of the equation – not just obvious stuff like exercise and mindset – but the whole of reality that could be impacting your issue, unbeknownst to your conscious mind. Stuff like adrenals. Angst. Adenovirus. Aunt Alison the Alien’s Accident Anniversary. And that’s just the the first letter of the alphabet!

Example #2. You want to change careers and align with your higher calling. But your husband and kids think you’re nuts. Getting new credentials in your chosen discipline is a great idea – but if you forget about your family’s feelings, plus you stuff down your fear of financial risk, it will all come back to bite you later. And if your ancestors don’t like your new path, then fuggedaboudit, it ain’t gonna be easy, no matter how many Ph.D’s and dollars you earn!

The “Problem”
Your Finances might be distorted by your Family. Your Mood might be crashing because of the Feng Shui of your office. Your Career might be blocked by your Habits and Patterns. And what’s more, you’re probably not aware of these entanglements, on a conscious level.

The Solution
Change your behavior? Or take action? DO something – anything?! Well… that’s not a great solution. Taking action can occasionally be somewhat effective… or it could turn out to be a frustrating, wasted effort!

What to do???

Are you hyper-sensitive to all the turbulence out there these days? You may feel “off” – without even knowing why. This may be a sign of your increasing sensitivity.

Not all sensitivity is bad, even though it might feel like it. Allergies, depression, fatigue, weakness, dizzyness, shakiness or other reactions from food, smell or chemical sensitivity… as well as electrosensitivity, solar weather sensitivity… and of course, stress from news, noise or other people – our reactions to all this may seem like a curse, not a blessing.

But as humanity awakens and evolves, our “good” sensitivity increases too. Our perceptions attune to information that used to be imperceptible. We get more intuitive, psychic and telepathic.  This sensitivity can overflow into hypersensitivity… unless we know how to re-set and balance it.

Appropriate sensitivity is a great gift. Our Enhanced Sense Perception (see Now Healing 101 for an explanation of that) is an amazing tool. It includes accurate intuition, accurate gut feelings, psychic ability, claircognizance and all kinds of expanded knowingess.
