Most people think of energy healing as a mystical process, involving auras, chakras and a crystal-laden wiccan in a trance, with Jedi-style lightning shooting from her hands. While there may be a strand of truth to that cliché, there’s also a much simpler, down-to-earth version. Energy healing doesn’t have to mean “healing using energy.” It can also mean repairing an energy field.
Every material thing has an energy field. And it needs occasional maintenance and hygiene. Just as our physical bodies must constantly eliminate waste products, the bio-energy-field of living things needs to shed energetic toxins. These toxic energies may not be visible, or measurable by current science, but they can still occasionally wallop us.
Have you ever felt suddenly heavy and tired for no apparent reason? You may have just “caught” someone else’s energetic imprint. This happens through the principle of resonance. Other people’s emotions, your distant ancestors’ traumas, or even negative feng shui of buildings – can all gunk up your energy field. This can cause all kinds of problems, ranging from mild depression to fatigue to chronic illness.
Our energy fields need regular cleaning and maintenance. But energy-field hygiene is almost always overlooked, even by alternative and holistic practices. It’s easy to do, and it doesn’t take any special power. You don’t have to use any strength to gather up and “send” energy. You’re not actually manipulating energy – you’re really working with information, sort of like running a computer program to re-calibrate your energy field.
Try it! Simply enter this command to your Center (spine area): “Repair energy field – now.” Feel a subtle change, a tingling or deeper breath? That’s your energy field, tuning itself up!

Upon entering the ‘command’ “Repair energy field – now,” & sweeping it up my spine, I definitly felt a subtle shift in my awareness. A yawn & then it is as if my perception is a little clearer & Im a bit more alert. Also a slight sensation of ‘fizzing’, or brightness.
