Q: What does FAQ mean? (Yes, I get this question often!)

A: FAQ is an acronym for Frequently Asked Questions.

Q: How long do the Now Healing energetic shifts last? [this is a real question from a client.]

A: It depends. Some shifts, done once, will last “forever.” Other shifts seem to need “maintenance.”

After a session of Now Healing Energetic Alignments, if there are no more Disconnects, then the shifts will hold infinitely. Aye, but here’s the rub: there may be Disconnects that you are not aware of. So the trick is to expand your awareness to encompass all possible Disconnects – not just the ones that your conscious mind can find.

Perhaps the issue that you’re wanting to shift will have many possible future sources of Disconnection (you might call them “triggers”). In that case, you will need to find a way to zap those triggers before they happen. Or, just be OK with doing some regular energy maintenance, and be non-attached to any expectations of whether or not your issue is “fixed forever.”

Just because a shift doesn’t appear to last forever doesn’t mean it’s “not working” or not useful. Lots of things in life need to be done repeatedly – like eating, eliminating, bathing, brushing teeth, appreciating your loved ones, practicing a piano sonata or a kung fu form, and so on.

As with any practice, doing the shifts repeatedly doesn’t mean that you’re duplicating identical shifts over and over. Even “the same” shifts are different every time. So in that sense, all shifts last forever – but you may find yourself doing slight variations on them, to get at differenct aspects and dimensions of the issue.

Q: Do you teach ways to not have habits, pain, etc return? i.e. So that I don’t recreate, re-attract, or return to vibrating with the condition / behavior…. [This is a real question from a client]

A: The best way to deal with habits and patterns is to use the Disentangle command, to completely separate all aspects of the pattern from your energy field. And Disentangle your Mind and Emotions from thinking about the issue and interpreting the issue in a habitual way – if you always perceive it as “new” and different from before, you’ll find that the issue can flow and evolve much more easily.

The Disentangle command is taught in the Now Healing 101 Home Study Course. These are the kinds of questions we address – live – in the Now Healing Practice Group (for Now Healing 101 students and graduates only).

Q: Are the Midline and the Center interchangeable? In Chinese Energetics/Yuen Method you have the mid-line principle, directly in the center of the body. In Now Healing, you use the spine as the centering method. Can both be used interchangebly with both systems? [This is a real question from a client]

A: The two are a little bit different… but yes, you can kind-of use the Yuen Method Midline and the Now Healing Center interchangeably, once you get familiar with shifting energy and you want to work fast.

Here’s the difference between the two: although the NH Center is accessed in a similar “place” on the body as the Midline, it actually continues the midline into other dimensions and energy bodies. Going to your Center automatically puts you into a healing “space” and aligns you with neutrality, so you’re ready to work. And most importantly, it consciously and non-consciously aligns you with Infinite Self, so you’re not working from your personality self.

Dr. Kam Yuen would probably say you don’t need to bother will all that! But I find it very useful and effective, because going to the Center gives you neutrality, multi-dimensionality, Wholeness and the “correction”… all at the same time. It doesn’t take any extra time, except for maybe the first few times while you’re learning it.

Please note that the Spine is not the same thing as the Center in Now Healing. The Center is both physical and non-physical, and is about a lot more than the spine, although it does include the physical spine and spinal nerves. As taught in Now Healing 101 , the Center also include the energy meridians, “chakras” and energy centers, as well as the “Center of the Universe” and the universal mind.

Q: What would you suggest for a chronic migraine. I wanted to work w/you in a private session, but can’t afford it. I also trained a bit under Dr. Kam Yuen w/the Yuen Method.  It’s so easy to correct someone else…I need  a little help correcting myself. [This is a real question from a client]

A: Before you begin working on yourself, get yourself solidly in the “Now Healing Space” or any other totally neutral healing space where you’re aligned with your healer-self rather than your personality self.

Also, while you’re not having a migraine, do a session on yourself for a) being able to work on yourself and b) pre-”clear” future migraines.

Finally, if you want something a little more affordable than the 28-day program, try the do-it yourself approach: the Now Healing 101 Home Study Course. You can run exercises 8, 9 and 10 on the migraine issue, which could be very useful.

Or, you can try working with my other practitioners Nedi or Sharon – they are both amazing and have both helped me a lot!

Q: Do Guided Healing Sessions work just as well when I’m zoned out, or is it necessary or beneficial to remain alert during the teleseminar so that I can consciously direct my intention towards my Center at the appropriate moments?  I’m a new member of your Inner Circle.  I listened to your teleseminar “Tune Up Your Telepathy.”   I found it  challenging to remain consciously aware of your words.   This zoning-out effect does sometimes happen to me when I’m listening to recordings that have high vibration energy work embedded in them (Jaden Rose Phoenix’s Activations and holographic healings for example).   With Jaden’s work, I know it’s okay if I zone out because she says that the work will be done anyway.  [This is a real question from a client]

A: This work happens beyond normal consciousness. The non-verbal, super-conscious portion of the energy/information shift will “work”  – whether or not you are aware of it on a conscious level.

There may be some normal, everyday verbal info that you might miss if you’re zoned out… like special announcements,  instructions, tips and tricks etc… But you’ll still get the energy shifts!

One of the main goals of Now Healing is for you to be able to be conscious and fully aware, while simultaneously aligned with Infinite Self and expanded consciousness.

It’s no longer necessary to go into a meditative or “alternate” state, in order to access multi-dimensionality! So let’s allow for you to be in “normal” and “expanded” consciousness, at the same time. Disentangle from the “old-school new-age” paradigm in which you have to be zoned out to be in higher consciousness.

Q: First time I used the audio, it shifted BIG time…then my problems came back. I tried to do the audio again… but it only worked a little. [this is a real question from a client.]

A: If you don’t notice enough of a shift for “your problems”, try re-framing and re-phrasing your “problem” in a different way, and then running the audio. Why? Because the “problem” has already changed, and it’s not the same problem anymore. Even if it’s only slightly different, even if the symptoms feel similar, observe them again, and you will notice that they are different somehow, on some level – mental, emotional or physical. Treat every “problem” as new and different, every time you work on it – you’ll get better results that way!

For any “problem”, I recommend doing the Now Healing 101 exercises 8 and 9. Take your issue, and break it down into smaller components – like “pain in the lower back” vs. “pain in the right hip” “anger” “guilt” “fear of judgement of mother” etc… Turn them around into positive goals like “feeling comfortable in my lower back” “non-attachment to anger” or “feeling normal and neutral around guilt” etc… Then run the exercises separately for each component of your issue.

And remember: when you’re done with the session, notice what is different, rather than focusing on what’s the same!

Q: Does Now Healing work better as self-help, or when a practitioner does it for me? [this is a real question from a client.]

A: The self-help aspect of Now Healing is hugely important, because you can use the tools and techniques to shift the energy of anything. So rather than assuming that “your problem” requires expert help, most of the time, you can shift it yourself. Then, every once in a while, when doing it yourself stops being effective, or you hit a plateau, you can call in expert help.

    Thx for all your comments!
    @Kass – “initially feeling better” is a benefit, even if it’s a small one! If you are perceiving the “same obstacles” as before, I invite you to shift perspectives and avoid focusing on the sameness. Instead, notice what has changed – even if it’s a small change. When you call them “the same obstacles” you re-trigger and re-solidify them. Your habitual interpretation of your issues will put you back into the past state and pretty much un-do any “clearing” that happened. So make sure to notice the language and thoughts you use to describe your issues, and look for ways to pivot your perception… take a mental walk around to the other side of your issues, and notice them from different viewpoints. That is the beginning of self-healing.

    I haven’t found any benefits from the teleseminars, initially feel better after listening to them however nothing has improved in my life and I still have the same obstacles that I cleared why listening.
